In a stone building built at the end of the XIX century in the purest Haussmannian tradition, what was previously just a simple family guest house has become, over the course of the 1970s, an international hotel. Since 2007, the Best Western Star Champs Élysées*** has been a member of the Best Western Group. Run by Pierre Salles since 2001, the hotel was extensively renovated between 2007 and 2010 under the supervision of the architect Anne Bruguière-Peyroux. The Best Western Star Champs Élysées***, which enjoys Ecolabel status, is fully air-conditioned and completely non-smoking; it has sixty-two rooms, one of which is a suite.
From the moment you walk through the door you enter a distinctly historic setting: in the medieval inspired ground floor lounge, sofas have been arranged around the antique fireplace. Here one can meet, order a drink from reception, watch the flat screen television, or use the internet point provided for guests. Everything has been designed to create an impression of elegant comfort, and the typically French style attracts an international clientele, around half of which come from overseas. In addition to the charm of the setting is a real attention to service: everything at the Star has been created to meet the needs of the most demanding of guests.
A meeting room, accessible from the interior courtyard of the hotel, can accommodate twelve to fifteen people in a comfortable space naturally lit by daylight.
The hotel does not have a restaurant but an interior staircase leads to the basement to two adjoining breakfast rooms. Each of these is designed to serve twenty-four people. Two buffets, hot and cold, are available to guests between 7:00am and 10:30am. For those in a hurry, a quick formule rapide breakfast option is available between 6:00am and midday.
